Lattice Semiconductor have a listing of their free reference designs at: http://www.latticesemi.com/products/intellectualpr operty/referencedesigns Each Lattice Reference Design has a web page that provides a brief overview of that function and available options. Source code and documentation can be downloaded from these web pages.

To find the reference designs for Xilinx, select Search By Manufacturer then Xilinx. Find a board that looks interesting, then select Support Files & Downloads.
