Hi All,
Does anyone has ever worked with OpenRisc and Spartan-3A?
If you did/do could you please send me some information? Perhaps a "sample code"?
Thank you.
Regards,
Rick

Hi Rick,
I had a very quick look to OpenRISC...
unfortuantely, implementing something like this is not trivial and it will take me some more time comming into it.
As soon as I know more I will poste it here....
Just to say... you are not alone ![]()
Greetings
Totti

Hi totti, how are you?
Any news on your side? Could you "score" any points on this OpenRisc implementation?
I kept spending more time on the MicroBlaze though...
All the best,
Rick

The OpenRISC Reference Platform was just ported to the Xilinx ExtremeDSP Starter edition board, which contains a Spartan 3A DSP 1800. Don't know how much of the DSP resources that are used though, so I don't know if it will run on a regular Spartan 3A.
Look for ORPSoC under the openrisc1000 project on opencores.org if you are interested in the code
