Hi,

I am using Avnet Spartan 6 LX150T Development kit

Two question.

1. If i don't have Xilinx USB JTAG programming cable , then how i will do programming ? Is JTAG inbuild like in Xilinx Development board like SP605 etc.

2.Is Avnet providing NODE Locked License for Spartan 6 LX150T Development kit? As Xilinx is providing Node locked license. With webpack , i can use  Spartan 6 LX75T from webpack.

Plz help me to get my both query resolved.

1) There is no built-in JTAG circuit on this board, you'll have to have a USB or PC4 JTAG cable.

2) The answer is yes and this is stated on the S6LX150T web page: www.em.avnet.com/spartan6lx150t-dev.

Related to #1, there is a new, lower-cost and faster JTAG than the Xilinx Platform Cable USB.  This is fully supported natively in the 13.2 tools.  A couple manual steps are required in 13.1 and prior, which we can give you if you need them.
