Spartan-6 LX16 Evaluation Kit

I ran the test in the getting started guide, and I successfully erased the SPI and downloaded blinky_for_AvtLX16.bit.  Now when I push SW2, I see a different pattern of blinking for D1, D2, D4, and D5.  But the test code is gone.  Which bit or bin file restores the SPI flash to load the test code? 

I found a msc file, but that seem to require a USB with flyleads or adapter to J5 with XSPI.

I saw a mention of using JTAG via USB with iMPACT.  Can I use the included USB cable, or do I need a special JTAG cable?

Use the Default Serial Flash Factory Image

This is available on the downloads page.  Instructions for burning this file to the serial flash is in Serial Flash (SPI) Programming & Configuration using AvProg

I downloaded the Default SPI Flash Image from the Test File section of downloads and it turns out to be a .mcs file.  When I try to open a Bit File to program to the SPI via AvProg, it seems to want a .bit or .bin file.  I seached both the AvProg manual and the LX16 user guide for mcs and didn't find any reference.

I see your link to a default SPI image brings up a .bit file, but it seems to be for Spartan 3A.  Will this bit file work on Spartan-6 LX16?

I really apologize.  I'm not sure what happened there.  The default factory image is on the LX16's DRC Support and Downloads page.
