Hi everyone! The days are flying by as we get closer and closer to the beginning of X-Fest 2012. That means time is running out to register for events, especially for everyone looking to go to our early events! For patrons looking to make it out to our Irvine event, you only have 12 days left to register, so get on it!
As for the business matters at hand, we are here to bring you our latest preview before the kick off of X-Fest 2012. Today, we will be looking at a course entitled: “Zynq 7000 in Action: Exploring the Low-Cost Zynq-7020 Evaluation Kit.” We believe that both hardware and software designers will find the low-cost Zynq-7020 Evaluation Kit an ideal starting point for exploring the unique features of the Zynq-7000 architecture.
This course provides an overview of what’s included in the kit, a brief hardware overview of the Z7020-based platform, highlighting both the Processor System (PS) and Programmable Logic (PL) elements made available on the board, and an explanation of the reference designs and training materials available to help designers new to the Zynq-7000 family. Furthermore, as a case study, the course examines bringing up the ARM system running Linux with multiple peripherals, including a PL-based 7-inch LCD Panel and a PS-based Projected Capacitance (PCAP) Touch Sensor.
If anyone has any further questions, don’t hesitate to leave us a comment and we’ll do our very best to address your concerns as soon as possible. You don’t want to miss out on any of the action so register today at: http://avnet.me/xfesttf
